PRESS RELEASE May 2010 PR Index
Lock, Evotek Engineering's iPhone dock station, is now available for two-wheel vehicles.
In addition to cars, the Maranello-made case is available for bicycles and motorcycles from March 2010.
MARANELLO, ITALY - With spring in the air and with it the prospect of warmer weather, 4Lock, the iPhone case designed and made by Evotek Engineering, can also be installed on two-wheel vehicles.
After being used in the Ferrari Spider 16M, Evotek Engineering’s dock station, can now be used for bikes and motorcycles, which means that being able to open and close your iPhone with one hand is even handier. 4Lock ensures plugging in the iPhone is quick and simple: the iPhone safety lock is snugly and safely encased, while allowing full visibility of the touch screen. The iPhone can be rapidly unplugged and used wherever needed.

4Lock is designed exclusively for Apple products and allows full access to all the device’s functions. It is a must-have device for holding and using your iPhone while at work or during leisure time, in the car, on the bike, at the gym, at home or in the office.
For bikes and motorcycles, 4Lock comes with a special bracket to be fitted to the handlebars and a cover to protect against the elements.
Evotek Engineering, based in Maranello just outside Modena, deals with prototyping and innovative projects mainly in the automotive sector and this latest development only adds to its range of pioneering products. It first attracted attention with MYSE (make your smart electric), a kit designed and created to convert a combustion engine car into an electric car. With the MYSE E01 Kit a Smart can become a zero emission city car with running costs of just two euro per 100 km.
